Hi sunshine!

Life can get crazy, I get it. Between work, family, and everything else, it’s easy to push your health to the back burner. But here’s the truth: YOU matter, and taking care of yourself isn’t optional—it’s essential. If you’ve been putting off creating a routine because time is tight, it’s time to make a change. Here’s how to get started:

1. Stop Waiting for the “Perfect Time”

Guess what? There’s no perfect time. Start now, even if it’s just for 10 minutes. Whether it’s a quick walk, stretching, or swapping out a junk food snack for something healthier—those small actions add up.

2. Find What You Enjoy

If you don’t love running, don’t force it! Choose something that excites you—yoga, lifting, or hiking. Exercise shouldn’t feel like a punishment, it should feel like fun.

3. Set Small, Realistic Goals

Start with achievable goals. Maybe it’s drinking more water, stretching in the morning, or cooking one healthy meal a week. Little wins build your confidence and make bigger changes easier.

4. Be Kind to Yourself

You’re not perfect, and that’s okay. If you slip up, don’t stress—just get back on track. Progress, not perfection, is the goal. Be gentle with yourself, and keep moving forward.

5. Build a Routine That Works for You

Your routine should fit you, not some unrealistic idea of perfection. Don’t force early morning workouts if you’re not a morning person. Find what works for you and stick with it.

6. Lean on Others for Support

Accountability is key! Whether it’s a friend, a partner, or an online/ in person community, having someone to check in with can keep you motivated.

7. Make Self-Care a Priority

Self-care isn’t just bubble baths—it’s making time for things that recharge you. Prioritize your mental, emotional, and physical well-being in your daily routine.

8. Start Small, But Start Now

Don’t wait for the “perfect moment” to begin. Start with small actions—those 10-minute breaks, a quick workout, or making healthier food choices. Every step counts.

The truth is, taking care of yourself doesn’t have to be a massive overhaul—it just takes consistency. Start small, stay consistent, and remember: YOU are worth it.
